Scan Verification Associate I

Job Summary:
The Scan Verification Associate I is responsible for verifying the quality and accuracy of all letters work that mails from the Clarity Output Solutions (COS) facility. This position utilizes various programs and equipment, both proprietary and third party, to audit jobs before they leave the facility. The Scan Verification Associate I works to ensure all jobs on the daily schedule are produced based on Clarity Output Solutions (COS) specifications. The Scan Verification Associate I, has a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues where there are missing or damaged pieces. This position reports to the Director, Production Operations-Second Shift, or the Quality Assurance Manager.
Essential Functions
• Reconciles piece counts on all jobs that have been inserted.
• Performs all necessary quality control (QC) inspections on each job based on the guidelines communicated and posted in the department.
• Audits reports and signatures on job tickets to ensure all production points have logged their involvement in the job.
• Enters all necessary recoveries for pieces within the jobs that require recovery.
• Identifies and sets aside jobs that are missing pieces or that need additional work to reconcile.
• Uses COS proprietary QC system to match cards to carriers.
• Works cooperatively with other departments to help achieve manufacturing goals.
• Assists in light handiwork/maintenance/cleaning as needed.
• Performs general housekeeping including general upkeep both in and outside of the facility, trash/waste removal, and general assistance.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
Education Required
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Knowledge & Experience
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience navigating web browsers required.
• Basic math and reading skills required.
