Job Summary:
The Mail Process & Fulfillment Associate is responsible for various aspects of hand fulfillment and mail processing operations at Clarity Output Solutions (COS). The Mail Process & Fulfillment Associate has a keen eye for detail and ensures that all packages scheduled to leave the facility are processed according to specification, verified, and reconciled properly, and sorted and prepared in accordance with USPS standards. Mail Process & Fulfillment Associate is involved in various quality control (QC) checks to ensure that all finished materials set to leave the facility meet specifications. This position assists in all aspects of hand fulfillment and mail processing work. Mail Process & Fulfillment Associate reports to the Fulfillment and Mail Process Manager.
Essential Functions
• Responsible for hand (manual) fulfillment of daily work, including nine-by-twelve bookwork, commercial work, small job matching and insertion.
• Uses third party programs to prepare postal paperwork in accordance with USPS standards.
• Uses COS proprietary scan tools to verify the accuracy and counts on outbound materials.
• Operates light machinery including shrink-wrapping, polybag, scale counting, and hole punching machines.
• Verifies the quality of outbound goods is consistent with COS QC standards.
• Works cooperatively with other departments to help achieve manufacturing goals.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Ensures all output is sorted in proper USPS containers, including buckets, trays, and sacks.
• Uses a scanner and computer to check all jobs and verify counts into proprietary COS software through the quality control (QC) Check-In tool.
• Scans explanation of benefits (EOBs) and booklets to ensure 100%-piece count before mailing.
• Performs all necessary QC inspections on each job based on the guidelines communicated and posted in the department.
• Verifies that reprints are successfully submitted by other departments.
• Assists in light handiwork/maintenance/cleaning as needed.
• Performs general housekeeping including general upkeep both in and outside of the facility, trash/waste removal, and general assistance.
Education Required
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Knowledge & Experience
• A minimum of 1 year of experience with fulfillment work preferred.
• Experience with quality control processes preferred.
• Basic computer skills required. Experience with MS Office including Excel and Word preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills required.
